Varsity Esports
Tryouts will be held in-person during the first or second week of each semester or by invitation. Those interested in playing for the varsity teams should fill out the tryout form and plan on attending.
Team Benefits we are working on depending on title include:
- Recognition as official varsity team of the university
- Priority access to esports lab
- Broadcasts, highlights, features, press
- Scheduled season typically 7 weeks long plus playoffs
- Coaching
- Gear / Jerseys
- Potential for travel
- Potential for scholarships/financial aid opportunities
Requirements include…
- Maintain grades and academic performance
- Attendance at team practices and league matches
- Uphold the “Vandal Code,” Student-athlete conduct agreement
- Maintain guidelines outlined in UIdaho eSports student-athlete handbook

- Potential for scholarships for championship teams/players
